Attention, Attention- If you haven't already heard...

I turned one!!! And check it out, I'm still as cute as ever. If you haven't already sent a gift, please mail it as soon as possible. I like clothes, toys, and especially books. Daddy says I also like donations for college. In case you haven't seen me for a while, I now have 4 teeth, I'm standing a lot, babbling, I can tell you where my hair, tongue, and nose are and I blow kisses. I also like to be entertained and held, so if you see me, pick me up!

Jack- It's really easy- yours says "Jack" and mine says "Ella." I love you very much, and I'm glad we're celebrating together. But, if you touch my cake again, it's gonna get really, really ugly. You don't want to see me when I'm mad....

Mommy- Daddy didn't know that he shouldn't give me frosting with red food coloring. Remember, he's the same dude that washes his whites with his colors. However, Elmo would look kind of silly without all the red color, wouldn't he?

Beach, Breakfast, and Bananas

This morning we went for a walk on the beach. I heard a new restaurant opened and wanted to check out the new menu. It also gave the family the opportunity to get out for some exercise. Of course, I let them push me around so it wouldn't be so easy! The food was ok, mommy and daddy seemed satisfied, and mommy brought me some of my favorites from home. Hopefully the restaurant won't change names again-- 4 times in 4 years is a little much! Check out me and my banana dance!

Yay... I'm even taller. And I can use Daddy's head as a drum. Wait a second- aren't you supposed to have hair up here? I could swear there was more just a few weeks ago. If stress makes the hair go, does the pleasure of having me around make it grow back?

Mommy- throw me the desitin- someone is going to have a diaper rash- on their neck!!!

One of the four food groups?

Mommy has been introducing me to some tasty new foods: bananas, turkey, cheese, ice cream, bagels, noodles, yogurt puffs, pretzels. This big colorful thing looked delicious, but my 2.5 teeth are having some trouble with it.

ok...wait..it's coming to me.. I'm getting a premonition.. Yes!.. Another World Series for the Sox!

Alright, enough is enough. No more sports, bachelorette, american idol, oprah, or larry king. We're going to watch Elmo and Mickey Mouse. Also, I need to use the phone- got to call my cousins! Am I old enough for my own blackberry?

My first taste of ICE CREAM

Yesterday, I went to Hannah's ice cream party. She was turning 7 so I was definitely the youngest one there...but i got in line to get my taste of ice cream. Don't worry...daddy was right behind me getting his scoop (or two)! Notice, I'm making the 'more' sign with my hands! I likey!!

I love to EAT!

Hey, is there a puff under my eye? I don't know how it got there, but I love my puffs! AND, I also love pieces of turkey, cheese, bananas and macaroni. Yes, I'll eat some baby food out of jars still, but i love eating with my hands! ...I'd really like to find that missing puff!

A present for me?

Mommy and Daddy got a new camera today. They say that it's tough to capture my beautiful smile. With the new one, it should take pictures quicker and a few at a time. Believe it or not, I was smiling right before this picture was snapped!

My grip is getting better...

The good news for Mommy and Daddy is that I can hold my bottle by myself. The bad news is that I can get a real good grip on remote controls and phones too! Daddy loves when I turn the Red Sox game off in order to watch Elmo or call 911 by mistake! On a side note, only one more month of formula- I may have to put the last case of Similac on ebay!

My Favorite Food....

is a bagel! Don't steal it Daddy... This will keep me busy for almost 20 minutes while my 1.5 teeth wear it down.

Fun Time at the Gym!

Mommy's been taking me to some great classes. I've been going to Gymboree, the JCC and music classes. It's a lot of fun! Mommy gets to take me out so I don't kvetch and I'm really liking all the singing and playing. Hopefully I take my nap in the car after we leave. I'm really trying to nap better so I'm not tired and edgy later. I even got Daddy to come to a couple of classes! I think Mommy's telling me about an itsy bitsy spider in this shot!
